About the Event
Want to try kayaking and do your bit to clean up our waterways? Join us for a socially-distanced Planet Patrol on Friday 23rd July, suitable for 8+ years (all children MUST be accompanied by an adult).
Never kayaked before? No problem! You’ll be shown all the basics before you go on the water by a qualified instructor from one of our amazing clean up partners, Omega Outdoor Adventure. All equipment is provided so all you need to do is turn up ready to get stuck in. If you have your own board and equipment, please send us an email or DM so we are expecting you.
Our golden rule is that you record everything you collect in the Planet Patrol app. We don't want to litter pick forever, so it's important to record what we find by TYPE and BRAND so we can solve this problem at the source and hold the big polluters accountable. Spaces are limited as group sizes are reduced (blame covid) so make sure you reserve your spot.
BOOK HERE TO SECURE YOUR SPOT: https://planetpatrol.co/clean-ups/ All the details - meeting location, what to bring, what to wear, what to expect - are on our website.
Planet Patrol operates on an entirely not for profit basis so donations are hugely appreciated. Your contributions will be pumped back into running clean ups, working with businesses to eliminate waste, educating and developing solutions to stop this problem for good.
