Service Description

This 4 week Learn to roll course is ideal for those looking to take the next step in their Kayaking journey. Suitable for those who have already learned how to Kayak, have been Kayaking for a while and wish to learn how to roll or develop their rolling skills so that it's every time. Dates: 4 week course running on Wednesdays Time: x4 sessions ~1 hour 30 17:00-18:30 Age: 18+ Location: Tamworth, Staffordshire What's included: -Kayak -Paddle -BA & Helmet -Spray deck -All safety equipment -Dry bags -Waterways license -Experienced, qualified and DBS checked instructor Please note that we don't provide personal clothing such as wet suits, wet boots and/or dry suits. Session 1 - Buzzard Valley - On the land The theory of rolling Greenland rope rolling techniques Session 2 - Buzzards Valley - On the lake Finding your roll & peer rescues Session 3 - Buzzards Valley - On the lake Developing your roll Session 4 - River Tame, Tamworth Rolling on the river Weekly course details: Sent by email after booking; meet points, session aims & kit list. About the venue: The toilet block is situated at the main entrance, approximately 5 minutes walk from the lake. Changing is available in the separate Male and Female changing tents at Base Camp, or if you prefer at your car. (If you require a separate changing tent, please let us know in advance). Base Camp is a completely outdoor venue with a big bush craft vibe. Cancellation Policy

Bookings are non-refundable. In the case of extreme poor weather we will reschedule the session.
