Learn to - 4 week course
Our 4 week Learn to craft specific courses are ideal for beginners looking for a solid start to their Paddling journey. Suitable for those over the age of 18 who wish to increase their confidence and independence on the water in Kayaks, Canoes or Paddleboards.

Paddle safer for Parents
This course is designed with families in mind, to give you the knowledge and confidence to enjoy safe paddling trips with your family in a variety of crafts. Run by Judith from Omega, this is an opportunity to gain insight into over a decade of paddling experience, leading groups of children and adults across the UK and abroad.

Paddle Safer award

The Paddle Safer course is designed for anyone new to paddling, or relatively inexperienced to paddling, wanting to gain knowledge and raise their awareness of paddling safely in a sheltered water environment, in or on the craft that they paddle. Typical craft would include kayaks, canoes, stand up paddleboards, sit on tops and inflatables.

Your Touring Award (was BC 3 star touring) endorses your skill, judgment and decision making required to have a successful day on a river or estuary. You will be confident in planning and undertaking journeys with proficient skills to be in control throughout. Price based on a group of 4.

As a Multi-Day Touring Award holder, you will have the ability to apply your choices to an enjoyable multi-day trip on a variety of waters including canals, lochs/lakes, estuaries and sections of rivers up to grade 2. Price based on a group of 4.

This award is designed to develop your understanding of how to plan and paddle a Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) in sheltered water, using the appropriate abilities and decision making skills to travel safely on your pre-determined route. Price based on a group of 4.

PSRC - Paddlesport Safety & Rescue Course
This British Canoeing course aims to provide paddlers with key safety and rescue skills required to operate safely and to be able to deal with common problems in a sheltered water environment. This course is designed for all paddlers irrespective of their chosen craft; Kayak, Canoe, Paddleboard or Sit on top. The objective is to introduce, explore and practice simple strategies and safe skills that can provide the paddlers with the tools to solve common paddling issues.
