Lessons and awards for groups

Omega Paddlesport courses provide the young people of Tamworth and the surrounding areas the opportunity to develop their paddling skills towards D of E, BTEC, GCSE PE, Scout badges and gain nationally recognised British Canoeing awards. Our courses are suitable for complete beginners and those with more experience.

To ensure the best learning experience for each group we have an instructor ratio of 1:6 on our courses, larger groups are welcome, just get in touch!

6 week course

  • Ages 7-17yrs

  • Set your aims; GCSE PE, Scout or Guide badge, D of E prep

  • 6 week course - 2 hour sessions

  • Buzzards Valley, Tamworth

  • Optional offsite trip

  • Kayak, SUP or Canoe

  • £115pp

Private courses are ideal for groups of 4 to 12, for individuals please check out our Kayak Club. 

Intensive course

  • Ages 14-17yrs

  • GCSE Groups 

  • BTEC groups

  • 2 day intensive course

  • Full days - 10-4pm

  • Kayak, SUP or Canoe

  • Buzzards Valley, Tamworth

  • Optional offsite trip

  • From £120pp

Private intensive courses for groups of 4 to 12. To further develop your skills, take a look at our weekly Kayak Club.

Mini Expeditions

  • Ages 9-17yrs

  • Previous experience recommended

  • A great addition to the weekly session course

  • Set your aims; GCSE PE, Scout or Guide badge, D of E prep

  • Kayak, SUP or Canoe

  • Rubys Yard, Atherstone

  • From £80pp
